Tropic 3

PYRATEX® tropic 3 is a textile made from a blend of modal and kapok fiber, a plant-based alternative to wool thanks to its insulating, breathable, and quick-drying properties. Similar to cotton, kapok fiber is a type of cellulosic fiber that comes from seeds. It is soft and silky to the touch.

PYRATEX® tropic 3 reduces the environmental impact of traditional fibers by avoiding irrigation, pesticides, and intensive processing, as kapok is naturally harvested without harming the tree. It also provides a plant-based alternative to wool.

Kapok grows in tropical forests without irrigation, pesticides, or fertilizers, supports biodiversity.
