Information We Collect
We collect information that users, facilitators, or administrators provide to operate IMASUS workshops and project portfolios.
- Account and invitation details, including name, email address, role, password, invitation status, preferred language, institution, and country.
- Participant profile information, including short biography or interests and optional public profile links such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Behance, or a personal website.
- Workshop participation, project membership, project titles, challenge selections, log entries, uploaded images or videos, and publication content.
- Technical information needed to keep the service secure and working, such as session cookies and basic server logs.
How We Use Information
- To invite users, authenticate accounts, and manage workshop access.
- To let participants create projects, collaborate with team members, document their process, and publish portfolio pages.
- To let facilitators manage workshops, invitations, participants, and projects within their workshops.
- To maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and fulfil legal or contractual obligations connected with the IMASUS project.
Published Project Pages
When a team publishes a project, the public page may include the project content, selected media, and participant profile cards. This can include names, institution, country, short biography, and optional profile links supplied by the participants. Published projects are visible without login and may be linked from the IMASUS website.
Participants should only publish information and media they are comfortable making public and have permission to share.
Analytics and Cookies
IMASUS App uses Plausible Analytics through stats.munkun.com to understand aggregate usage. Plausible is privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses or persistent identifiers.
The app does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, cross-site tracking, or analytics cookies. Because Plausible is cookieless and the remaining cookies are necessary or preference cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
- Session cookie: keeps users signed in, protects account access, and supports security features such as CSRF protection. This is necessary for the service.
- Locale cookie: remembers the language selected by the user for up to one year. It is used only for that interface preference and not for profiling, advertising, or analytics.
- Plausible Analytics: collects aggregate usage statistics without cookies, browser storage, local storage, or persistent device identifiers.
Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, protect rights, or support the IMASUS project. Published project pages are public by design once a participant team publishes them.
Information Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above.
