Recycled polyester 1

Description

Unlike conventional polyester, which is obtained from petroleum derivatives, recycled polyester can be obtained from plastic bottles. These are compacted and broken down into small fibres, which are then transformed into fabric. The chance to give new life to what used to be waste, creating thoughtful and sustainable fashion.

What problem it solves

Recycled polyester helps reduce plastic waste, keeping bottles out of landfills and oceans. It lowers the need for petroleum-based materials, saving resources and cutting emissions. It transforms discarded plastics into usable fabric for fashion and other products.

Interesting properties

It helps to reduce plastic in landfills and generate less pollution.
